Recently, our company successfully completed the production, inspection, and delivery of a batch of high-power marine generator sets. All units have been fully prepared and are now en route to the customer site.

This shipment will serve two ocean-going fishing vessels in Zhoushan, providing stable and reliable power support to ensure efficient and safe long-distance fishing operations.

Project Configuration Overview

The project includes a total of 10 generator sets, covering multiple operating conditions such as main power supply, emergency backup, and harbor operation:

  • 6 × 1000KW Main Generator Sets

  • 2 × 500KW Emergency Generator Sets

  • 2 × 200KW Harbor (Anchorage) Generator Sets

All generator sets are certified by CCS (China Classification Society) and fully comply with the technical requirements for ocean-going fishing vessels. They are designed to operate reliably under harsh marine conditions, including high salinity, high humidity, and long-term continuous operation.

China’s Fisheries Industry Enters a New Stage of High-Quality Development

China’s fisheries industry is entering a new phase of high-quality growth. According to the China Agricultural Outlook Report (2025–2034), total aquatic product output is expected to reach 74.42 million tons in 2025, representing a 1% increase year-on-year.

As an important component of the marine economy, the marine fisheries sector continues to grow steadily. In 2024, the industry achieved an added value of RMB 488 billion, up 4.0% from the previous year, and is projected to reach RMB 507 billion in 2025.

Over the next decade, aquatic product output is expected to maintain moderate growth, reaching 78.74 million tons by 2034, an increase of 10.7% compared to the base period, with an average annual growth rate of 1.0%.

Strategic Importance of Distant-Water Fisheries

Distant-water fisheries play a strategic role in China’s fisheries sector. In 2024, national distant-water fishery output reached 2.1891 million tons, accounting for 2.98% of total aquatic product output.

With rising living standards, domestic consumption of aquatic products continues to grow. Total consumption is expected to reach 83.06 million tons by 2034, an increase of 12.3% over the base period.

The consumption structure is also evolving, with processed aquatic products growing rapidly. By 2034, processed consumption is projected to reach 36.19 million tons, up 18.8%, with an average annual growth rate of 1.7%.

Strong Policy Support from Zhoushan

Zhoushan City provides strong policy and financial support for the development of marine fisheries. The municipal finance department allocates RMB 69 million annually to support EU sanitary registration upgrades for distant-water fishing vessels and the construction of public service保障 systems for distant-water operations.

For the construction of demonstration and leading fishing vessels, Zhoushan offers an additional 5% subsidy of construction costs on top of higher-level government subsidies, with a maximum subsidy of RMB 1 million per vessel.

In 2025, RMB 4.49 million has already been allocated for fishing vessel facility and equipment upgrades, supporting the construction of 2 demonstration vessels, the renovation of 200 safety-leading vessels, and the upgrading of 1,396 Beidou satellite navigation systems.

Tailored Power Solution for Ocean-Going Fishing Vessels

The generator configuration delivered to Zhoushan was specifically designed to meet the unique operational requirements of ocean-going fishing vessels.

  • Six 1000KW main generator sets ensure sufficient power for fishing operations, onboard processing, refrigeration, and freezing systems.

  • Two 500KW emergency generator sets provide dual-layer safety assurance, ensuring the continuous operation of critical systems such as navigation, communication, and lighting under extreme conditions.

  • Two 200KW harbor generator sets meet low-load power demands during berthing, improving overall energy efficiency and reducing operating costs.
